Food Bank For New York City's Annual Agency Conference is New York City's premier conference for the anti-hunger community. In its 20th year, the Annual Agency Conference is an opportunity for emergency food programs to gather together and learn from experts as well as each other. This year's conference will feature eight unique workshops, a keynote address and an interactive forum, as well as opportunities to network with other emergency food programs located throughout the five boroughs. Please join us on January 11 to learn, share and celebrate all that you do to help end food poverty in New York City.

Raise every voice to save TEFAP and Food Stamps! Ensure we leverage the voice of the emergency food program network to impact upcoming funding decisions.

B. Tips from Batali's Kitchen (AM only)
Spice up your food offerings! Discover new nutrition education materials, including CookShop tips for teaching families and recipes developed by Celebrity Chef Mario Batali!

C. Fundraising with One-Click (AM only)
Raise money in new ways! Understand how social networking sites like Facebook and Twitter can help you get more community support, from donations to volunteers.  

D.  Going from Outreach to Outcomes (AM or PM)
Shorten your pantry line! Learn advanced techniques to engage clients about food stamps and successful referral systems. Recommended for Collaborative Community Initiative participants.

E. Serving a Targeted Audience (AM or PM)
Share your expertise! Discuss with your peers best practices for serving shifting demographic populations. Join a discussion group for eldery, working clients or children.

F. Making Your Site "Camera-Ready" (PM only)

ANNUAL AGENCY AWARDS

The Food Bank’s Annual Agency Awards are a special recognition for member food distribution programs doing outstanding work during the year.  The awards are presented during the Food Bank For New York City’s Annual Agency Conference.  The application deadline is December 9, 2011. Apply Today!
