Food Bank for New York City

Food Bank Bites
"After working all day, coming home to an empty kitchen is hard. The juice is always the first thing to go.

"But we are so lucky. We can come here and get a good hot meal or a bag of groceries that will pull us through."

For 25 years, the Food Bank For New York City has relied on people like you to help feed those who do not have the means to feed themselves. The Food Bank solicits, warehouses and distributes food to more than 1,000 food pantries, soup kitchens and other food assistance programs throughout the five boroughs. These programs, in turn, prepare balanced, nutritious meals for people who don't have enough money or resources for one of life's most basic necessities: food.

With approximately 1.3 million New Yorkers relying on emergency food — the majority of whom are women, children, seniors, the working poor and people with disabilities — your food donations are critical. The Food Bank offers a variety of ways to donate to suit your need.
